Drawing inspiration from legendary artists like Bonnie Raitt, Etta James, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, and Brandi Carlile, April has crafted her own distinct sound that combines elements of soul, authenticity, and timeless melodies.

April's talent and dedication were recognized in 2023, when she was honored with a Buffalo Music Award for Blues Lead Vocal, showcasing her exceptional vocal abilities and stage presence.
